November/December Reflection

One project that we did in November was scratch. I thought scratch was kinda fun but it did get a little aggravating when you couldn't get it to move the way you want. Els in this project were creativity because you had to think of a game to make that would be fun to play and be original. Also Technology Operations and Concepts was a big part of this project because you had to figure out what would make the character more there or how to get one character to say something when something happened to it. Problem solving was a small part of this project because if something didn't work you would find out why and then change it.

From this project I learned how to use scratch and the commands. Making the things in it move and talk then how to make the game start over if the person lost. I am most proud of the way the game moves and how the animals bounce on the screen but still go to their starting place when the game is over. I'm most proud of that because it took me a while to figure it out. I'm a little happy with my work because the game works but I think I could have made it better and added more stuff to it making the game more challenging as the person plays.

October Reflection

My favorite project in October was Animoto. It was fun to use something to make slide shows other than power point and you can make the show very original with pictures text and music. the major ELs in this project were creativity and innovation because you could do what you wanted to do on the slide show. Technology Operations and Concepts was a small part of the project because you would have to know how to upload pictures or any music you would want to be included.
From this project I learned how to use Animoto. Adding text, music, pictures and how to make a video longer or shorter. I am most proud of my video Emotion because I found some cool pictures and with the music it looks pretty good. I am happy with my work, but there are some videos that I made that I don't like as much.

August-September Reflection

My favorite project from August and September was the living on minimum wage. We were in a group and had to make a budget of a person who lives on minimum wage. The project included may different ELs. Collaboration we made a spread sheet and document on Google docs and each edited the sheets adding ideas. Also decision making we had to figure out how save money and decide what we needed.

Something that I learned from this project was how to use spread sheets more efficiently. I am most proud of what we found and the persons name. I'm proud of this because we did well on our budget and found a unique jobs and combined different letters of our names to come up with the person's name. I'm am happy with our work because we ended up having more money left over at the end of the month. Also most of the project was very realistic.

Happy People

The article "Happy People" was about why people are happy and how they act. I agree with what the article said, that people who are happy can be healthier and possibly more successful. Also I agree with the characteristics the article describes happy people as things like having more energy being social and creative.
